FYCAS assists Yolo County Animal Services primarily through seeking donations and grants to:

• raise fund for a new, state-of-the-art shelter for Yolo County (our most ambitious project!).

• enhance the conditions for animals for the period they are held at the shelter;

• increase the rate of adoption of animals from the shelter;

• implement and expand spay and neuter programs;

• support training of shelter personnel;
