Boots is a 13 year old grey mackerel tabby who was for a while living with an elderly lady. When the lady died,  her daughter took in Boots but was unable to keep him.

FYCAS assists Yolo County Animal Services primarily through seeking donations and grants to:
raise fund for a new, state-of-the-art shelter for Yolo County (our most ambitious project!).
enhance the conditions for animals for the period they are held at the shelter;
increase the rate of adoption of animals from the shelter;
implement and expand spay and neuter programs;
support training of shelter personnel
